Oilfield Activity Continues In Alberta

Throughout the second half of 2017, many experts were predicting an increase, if not a boom, in oil and gas well drilling activity in Alberta during 2018. As April begins, many of those predictions are coming true. Normally the beginning of April is the end of drilling season as spring break up is starting. This year, drilling and oilfield activity in Alberta is continuing, with no letup in sight.
The latest drilling activity reports show a high level of activity in Western Alberta, from Grande Prairie down to Red Deer. On the Eastern side of the province, the area North of Cold Lake is very busy.
