Flexible Cash-Flow Solutions

Factoring Companies in Fontana

Increase Your Cash Flow with Invoice Factoring

Invoice factoring also known as accounts receivable financing, speeds up your cash flow by eliminating the wait on slow-paying customers. The process works by selling your invoices (receivables) to a factoring company in exchange for quick cash. The factoring company will advance you a percentage of the invoice amount, giving you access to cash that is normally tied up for months. Once your customer pays the invoice 30-90 days later, the factoring company will remit the remaining balance to you, less a factoring fee.

While there are many factoring companies in Fontana and throughout California, Scale Funding’s programs offer many additional benefits.

Fontana, CA

Founded in 1913 and incorporated on June 25, 1952, Fontana is home to just over 200,000 people. With this population, it is the twentieth largest city in California and the second largest city in San Bernardino County. It has a total span of 42.432 square miles, with 3 percent of this area being covered by water. The city is close to Santa Ana River, which is why it was named Fontana, the Italian word for water.

History

The history of Fontana dates back to 1913 when Azariel Blanchard Miller founded it. At this early stage, chicken ranches, as well as citrus orchards and vineyard farms, thrived in and around the area. However, the construction of a steel mill in the area by Henry J. Kaiser during the Second World War brought huge development in the city. To meet the healthcare needs of the plant’s workers, a medical facility known as Fontana Kaiser Permanente was built by Henry J. Kaiser.

The Fontana Drag Strip, also known as Fontana Drag City, was established and it hosted the NHRA circuit. The strip was operational between the 1950s and 1960s, but during the middle of 2006, a new drag strip approved by NHRA was launched as a means of reviving the drag-racing heritage of the city.

Fontana had been known for its stunning exhibition of vintage automobiles. It has an automobile museum known as Ro-Val’s Automobile Museum, which displays many historic automobiles from the 1920s and 1930s. One of the heritage vehicles housed in the museum was once used by Fatty Arbuckle, a screen actor. A classic automobile collector, Bill Harrah, who also operated a casino in Nevada, purchased the vehicles when the museum closed to display them in his casino’s museum.

Between 2006 and 2007, a number of development island areas in the county, which were not yet incorporated, were integrated into Fontana. This, coupled with the construction of many residential developments in the northern part of the city, which had been largely undeveloped, resulted in the expansion of the city between the ending of the twentieth century and twenty-first century. In the census conducted during the first year of the twenty-first century, the population of Fontana was 128,929. But by 2013, the city’s population was approximated at 200,000.
