Take Back Control of Your Finances with Invoice Factoring

Invoice factoring, also known as accounts receivable financing, is a B2B funding solution that allows companies to take back control of their finances. With invoice factoring, your company will have consistent cash flow, as you’re paid immediately on your invoices.

With Scale Funding it is simple. Once you’re set up, send your invoices directly to us. The day that we receive them, we’ll initiate a competitive advance of the invoice total directly into your bank account.  When your customer pays weeks or even months later, we’ll remit the remaining total to you, less our low factoring fee.

While there are many financing and factoring companies in Bridgeport and throughout Connecticut, Scale Funding offers customized solutions to meet your business needs. Whether you just want to have consistent cash flow and eliminate the wait on slow-paying customers or you have difficulties getting any or enough working capital from a bank, we can work with you. Our approvals are based on the creditworthiness of your customers rather than yours, making those deemed unbankable eligible for our financing.

While some of the most common forms of financing include business loans or lines of credit, they’re not always an available or a quick enough option. The approval and setup process for a bank loan or line of credit can take weeks. By the time you receive the capital you need, it can be months later, which can be difficult for many businesses when trying to maintain operations. With our Bridgeport invoice factoring programs, our quote process can be done in as little as 15 minutes, account set up in a matter of days, and once you’re set up, funding occurs within 24 hours.

Another difference between these financing solutions is how it affects your balance sheet. Loans and lines of credit create additional debt. Because of this, it can be difficult to obtain additional financing when you’re trying to grow. Since invoice factoring is not a loan, it does not create additional debt. Our financing lines grow as you grow.

Bridgeport, Connecticut

Located at the tip of the Pequonnock River in Long Island Sound, the city of Bridgeport is the state’s largest city. The city is neighbored by the towns of Trumbull, Fairfield, and Stratford.

The Greater Bridgeport area is the metropolitan area located in the center of the great city. As of the 2015 census, the Greater Bridgeport area was estimated at more than 900,000 people. The west portion of McLevy Green, a downtown area surrounded by multiple establishments, was set aside as the first public area in 1806. During that time, the city’s population rapidly grew, resulting in the need for more public parks. That major increase in population led to the birth of additional public parks, namely Seaside Park and Beardsley Park. Both parks were designed by Frederick Olmsted, who is famous for the creation of New York City’s Central Park. The city of Bridgeport was nicknamed the “The Park City” after it was reputed for its distinct public park system.

History and Economy

Centered at Black Rock Harbor, the place was first inhabited by the Paugussett tribe, being the first documented English settlement in 1644. The Pequonnock (meaning “Cleared Land”) was named after the Algonquian-speaking Native American tribe who used to occupy the area. By the time of its English colonization in 1607, farming and fishing became the mainstays of the economy.

From the mid-18th century to the mid-19th century, the city’s population rapidly grew from 25,000 to 100,000, which included thousands of German, English, Italian and Irish immigrants. During that time, the farming community of Bridgeport also became a trade center and grew in shipbuilding and whaling, which add to the city’s rich history.

The city’s quick industrialization and development led to the creation of iron foundries and the manufacturing of firearms, metallic magazines, and cartridges. During the early 20th century, the city of Bridgeport was already one of the early automobile manufacturing cities.

During the mid-20th century, the city of Bridgeport had a decline in its industrial regime and started offering service-based activities such as education, finance, and healthcare, which began to fuel its economy.
