factoring companies in Greenbelt turn invoices into same-day cashImmediate Cash with Accounts Receivable Financing

Our Greenbelt accounts receivable financing programs provide companies access to immediate cash flow. While some may choose to go to a bank for a loan or line of credit, it is important to understand the benefits of choosing invoice factoring (receivable financing) as your solution.

First, it is quick to get approved and set up for receivable financing to get same-day funding on your invoices. With a bank loan or line of credit, it can take weeks or months to get set up and cash in your pocket.

Second, receivable financing approvals are based on your customers’ creditworthiness rather than yours. Companies with little credit history or less-than-perfect credit can still qualify.

Third, receivable financing is not a loan, so no additional debt is created.

Lastly, with invoice factoring, your wait on customer payment is eliminated. Although you might have access to working capital with a loan or line of credit, you’ll still be wondering when you’ll get paid on your invoices.

Greenbelt is a suburb of DC, businesses in both cities use factoring companies in GreenbeltGreenbelt, Maryland

Greenbelt is a suburb of Washington D.C. and a city located in the state of Maryland. With innovative architectural planning, Greenbelt is decorated by humbleness and simplicity thus providing a decent amount of tourism for both local and international visitors. As of 2018, the city is estimated to have a population of 23,541. There are places in the world that show the perfect blend of beauty and history; Greenbelt is an excellent example of such a place.

Greenbelt borders College Park, New Carrollton, Beltsville, Riverdale Park, Berwyn Heights, Seabrook, and East Riverdale. The city is renowned for being not only the first but also the largest of the three experimental New Deal Green Belt Towns. These controversial towns were planned and built by the US Federal government for middle-income families.

History

On September 30, 1937, Greenbelt was settled as a public cooperative community in the new deal era. The federal government was aiming to foster an ideal cooperative community that was self-sufficient and would ease the critical housing shortage near Washington, D.C., the nation’s capital. This new project would also create employment opportunities thus helping to stimulate the national economic recovery following the Great Depression.

Providing affordable housing for federal government workers, Greenbelt was one of the three towns conceived in 1935 by Rexford Tugwell, a member of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Brain Trust. The two other towns were Greenhills in Ohio near Cincinnati and Greendale in Wisconsin near Milwaukee. These three towns were designed to provide work for the unemployed and affordable housing for low-income families as well as a model for future town planning in the US.

Initially operated as rental units, Greenbelt’s 1,600 housing units were sold to a housing cooperative in 1952. The residents formed the cooperative, and it is now known as Greenbelt Homes, Inc.

However, the city has managed to maintain its small-town atmosphere, cooperative spirit, playgrounds, and beautiful parks as well as some of the most affordable and distinctive housing in the Washington D.C. area, to this day.

The Roosevelt Center is the primary hub of activity in Greenbelt. It is home to the newly owned and restored Old Greenbelt Theatre, the New Deal Café which offers poetry, live music and more, and the Greenbelt Arts Center which offers live theater.
